STARTING YOUR CASE

What this service involves

We begin by reviewing your immigration history, eligibility, documents and goals. This helps us determine whether the standard service described here fits your situation and what evidence will be needed.

01

PREPARING YOUR RECORD

Typical documents we review

The exact documents depend on your history, eligibility and the filing requirements.

  • Military service, N-426 or DD-214 records as applicable
  • Identity and immigration records
  • Good-moral-character and legal history information
02

LEGAL PREPARATION

How we prepare the case

We assess military eligibility, prepare Form N-400 and the appropriate service documentation, and include naturalization interview and civics preparation.

We explain the filing plan and any case-specific concerns before the representation begins.

03

FLAT-FEE SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS

What is included and what costs extra

Flat attorney fee for one standard military naturalization application under INA section 328 or 329. Includes military eligibility and service/discharge history analysis; immigration-history and good-moral-character screening; Form N-426 certification guidance for active service members when applicable; review of DD-214 or other discharge documentation for veterans; preparation of Form N-400 and Form G-28 as appropriate; ordinary supporting exhibits; USCIS filing; interview and civics preparation; and routine case tracking. Optional in-person attorney attendance at the USCIS N-400 naturalization interview, when requested and available: an additional $1,000 attorney fee; travel expenses, if any, are separate. Excludes translations; certified-record procurement and extensive FOIA requests; military discharge upgrades; complex criminal or disciplinary issues; removal proceedings; separate N-336 appeals; motions. The USCIS N-400 filing fee is $0 for applicants who qualify under INA sections 328 or 329. This government fee exemption does not extend automatically to military spouses or dependents. The existing general N-400 attorney fee is separate. Where applicable, responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) relating to the covered matter are included in the flat attorney fee. Any USCIS Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) response arising from this covered application or representation, like a related Request for Evidence (RFE) response, is included in the stated flat attorney fee at no additional attorney charge.

The signed representation agreement controls the exact scope. Government fees and outside costs, where applicable, are not included unless expressly stated.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before we begin

Are government filing fees included in the price?

No. The displayed amount is the attorney fee. USCIS, consular, medical, translation and other third-party charges, when applicable, are separate unless the specific scope expressly says otherwise.

Will you charge an extra attorney fee if USCIS sends an RFE or NOID?

No additional attorney fee is charged for RFE or NOID responses arising within a Green Chavez matter already covered by a flat-fee representation agreement. The separately priced RFE and NOID services are only for new clients with applications filed independently or by another firm.

How do I find out whether my case fits this standard fee?
